Online #WoWTalk Café Add-On

The Online #WoWTalk (Words of Wisdom) Café Add-On prepares parents and providers who have been certified to host Be Strong Families’ Online Parent Cafés to take the next step and begin to produce and host Be Strong Families’ Online #WoWTalk Cafés.

The Online #WoWTalk (Words of Wisdom) Café Add-On prepares parents and providers who have been certified to host Be Strong Families’ Online Parent Cafés to take the next step and begin to produce and host Be Strong Families’ Online #WoWTalk Cafés! This is for participants who have taken the Online Parent Café Training and are facilitating Cafés. Prerequisite of this training is attendance at a Be Strong Families Online Parent Café Training.

By the end of the training, participants will know the anatomy of a Be Strong Families Online #WoWTalk Café, the philosophical foundations and research underlying Cafés as an educational and engagement strategy, how to create an ambiance conducive to maximizing the effectiveness of the Café process, how to create their own Café theme, and how to build on the Café experience to enhance programming for youth and young adults.

Participants will be notified by email through their department/organization registration contact, or through Be Strong Families. Use of internet applications such as Zoom and Adobe Acrobat or current PDF document viewer required and installed prior to training. Participants require to provide address prior to first day of training. Registration contact must provide attendee names, email, and ship-to addresses.

Cost:
Registration for the Café Team Training requires a minimum of 4 participants ($3,650.00 for team of 4). Every additional person is $912.50.
