Judith Ehrman-Shapiro, PhD, BC-DMT, NCC
Judith Ehrman-Shapiro is a board-certified dance-movement therapist, a humanistic and transpersonal psychologist, a nationally certified counselor, and a registered yoga instructor. Her professional experience spans over 30 years of providing psychotherapeutic, movement, and educational services. This experience has included work in a community hospital, community college, private practice, and for various organizations such as United Cerebral Palsy and Be Strong Families. Her speaking engagements have included local, national, and international conferences, on topics ranging from creativity, empowerment after trauma and grief to yoga for families, stress management, cooperative games/team building and dance-movement therapy. Her doctoral research was on the experience of bereavement after homicide.
Judith lives in the northwest corner of Connecticut but loves to travel and can provide online education.
