Executive Director
Lavenda was born and raised in Reno, NV, graduated from Reno High School and finished her Bachelors of Science in Music at Southwestern Adventist University. Lavenda served as an Associate Director for a nonprofit in Tyler, TX and has served most of her life as a music teacher in the education field. She has spent the past 15 years in church ministry with her husband and 3 daughters. After 20 years of being away from Reno, her service is coming back to the Reno area as the Director for Caring for Angels. Lavenda desires to help more youth and is excited to grow Caring for Angels reputation in the Washoe County area. “I look forward to serving my home town again!”
