Tamara (Tami) Castonguay
(She / Her)
Training and Technical Assistance Consultant
Tami is a mother and grandmother who values faith and family (her own, and others’) above all else. She considers her long history of working with families more of a ministry than a job. Tami first became involved with Be Strong Families through the daily webinars during the pandemic. She was a superfan and relied on the webinars as part of her daily self-care. She took part in the first training to host online Parent Cafés, and her love grew from there! Tami is a founding member of the National Parent Café Leadership Team and loves how Cafés bring people together by allowing us to learn from one another.
Tami has a Bachelor of Arts degree from Providence College and considers herself a lifelong learner. She enjoys reading, researching, and learning about a variety of topics. She also enjoys creating in many capacities from making customized t-shirts, stickers, and other crafts, to crocheting, and creating PowerPoint presentations for online Cafés.
“Everyone can learn, and I can learn from Everyone.”
