Texas Department of Family and Protective Services
The Texas Department of Family and Protective Services (DFPS) is responsible for safeguarding the well-being of children, elderly, and people with disabilities in the state. Through its various programs and initiatives, DFPS works to prevent abuse, neglect, and exploitation while providing support and resources to under-resourced populations. Since 2022, Be Strong Families has delivered between four and six in-person Parent Café Trainings per year in various locations across the state of Texas under contract with DFPS, as well as training for online Parent Cafés.
