Countering Race-based Stress for Young Children (in-person)
This training will focus on race-based stress for young children. Dr. Cirecie West-Olatunji will discuss what is known about race-based stress and how to identify the symptoms among young children. More importantly, Dr. West-Olatunji will offer solutions and interventions that can be implemented to arm children against threats to their self-esteem, self-actualization, and self-identity to promote healthy emotional and psychological well-being and lifelong success.
Parent Engagement through a Lens of Equity (online)
In this workshop, participants will build upon their strengths in developing and nurturing positive, healing relationships between providers and parents, explore the barriers they are encountering, and design practical solutions for overcoming these barriers.
Living The Protective Factors (online)
This two-day workshop gives participants the opportunity to “test-drive” the five research-based Strengthening Families™ Protective Factors that are proven to keep children safe and families strong.
Parent Café to Vitality Café Add-On (online)
Participants will take their Cafés online and learn how to use online Vitality Cafés to strengthen and empower families.
